The following are the terms and conditions for vending at Lansing Pagan Pride Day, organized by the Mid-Michigan Pagan Council (MMPC). Please read each section of these terms and conditions carefully before you submit a vending application. By submitting a vending application you are agreeing to these terms and conditions and stating that you have read and understood them. If you have any questions please contact us before submitting an application.
Vending spaces at Pagan Pride are 20’x20′.
Vending spaces cost $25 each before August 1st.
On or after August 1st the cost per space increases to $35.
The fee is non-refundable, unless application is declined or space is unavailable. Applications are due on, or before, August 20, 2017.
Vending spaces may be reserved by paying a $5 down payment. The remaining balance must be paid in full by the registration cutoff date or the vendor forfeits both the reserved space(s) and the down payment.
Pagan Pride is an open air event and vendors are responsible for providing their own shelter, tables, chairs, and displays. Sales from all sides of your vending booth are permitted.
The event will be held rain or shine.
All vendors are expected to come, rain or shine, except in the case of hazardous weather, as determined by MMPC staff. The MMPC does not provide protection from elements; please plan accordingly.
There is parking available in the parking lot adjacent to the vendor area for loading/unloading.
Setup and Operation
Registration, and unloading for vendors, is between 8:30AM and 9:00AM.
No vehicles will be permitted in the Lansing Pagan Pride Day area until 8:30AM.
The vendor’s booth must be open and staffed during all show hours – 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. No vendor may dismantle his/her booth before closing time – 5:00 PM.
One vehicle at a time will be allowed 30-minutes for unloading/loading purposes. You must unload your goods and remove your vehicle from the unloading/loading area to the parking area before setting up. Upon completion of loading & unloading, you are then required to park the vehicle in the public parking lot.
Failure to remove vehicles within the 30-minute time limit will result in a fee assessment not to exceed $100 per incident.
To facilitate traffic flow at the end of each day, all vendors are required to have their wares packed and ready for loading before their vehicle arrives to the unloading/loading area.
Vendor Code of Conduct:
Vendors may not interfere with adjacent booths in any way.
No vendor may sell their assigned space to another craftsperson,
or share their booth with any non-applicant.
Vendors are responsible for their own trash removal.
Vendors must leave the area as clean as they found it.
Smoking is not permitted in the vending area or on the park grounds.
Smoking areas will be made available.
MMPC staff reserves the right to relocate or suspend any participant/selling activity.
Food and Beverage Vending:
This is not allowed unless authorized by the President, or Vice-President, of the MMPC board. This includes: giving food and beverages away for free, selling by donation, or selling for profit. Failure to comply will result in immediate dismissal from the LPPD event.
The MMPC will not be held liable in the event vendor product or equipment is stolen, damaged or destroyed due to accidental or malicious intent of others or by elements such as, but not limited to, moisture or heat.
Failure to notify the MMPC staff in advance of any cancellations, as well as failure to comply with all show rules, will be grounds for termination of show participation rights.
Background checks will be conducted by the MMPC for all vendors. Should the background check indicate further consideration is warranted, the MMPC board will determine the eligibility of a vendor on an individual basis. The MMPC retains the right to refuse vendors for the Lansing Pagan Pride Day based on past criminal history.
